On February 25, 2025, our little explorers from St. Cecily’s Kindergarten embarked on an exciting and educational trip, filled with joy, discovery, and unforgettable experiences. The journey began at 9:30 a.m.as the children, accompanied by their teachers, set off with eager smiles and curious hearts.
The first stop was to the Udupi Fire Station, where the young minds were welcomed warmly by the firefighters. The children watched an engaging demonstration on fire safety, learning how these brave heroes protect lives and property. The excitement in their eyes was evident as they saw fire engines, hoses, and rescue operations in action.
Next, was the way to the Malpe Police Station, where the officers greeted them with kindness and enthusiasm. The children learned about the important role of the police in ensuring safety and maintaining law and order. Their curious questions were answered patiently, making the visit both informative and inspiring.
The adventure continued as they travelled to Hoode and Malpe Beach, where the breathtaking view of the vast sea left the little ones in awe. Though the students were not allowed to enter the water for safety reasons, they enjoyed the cool breeze, the golden sands, and the soothing sound of the waves, making it a truly magical experience.
After soaking in the beauty of nature, they headed to Kalmadi Church, where a delicious and refreshing lunch awaited them. The peaceful surroundings provided a perfect setting for the children to relax, chat, and recharge before heading back.
With hearts full of joy and minds enriched with new experiences, they returned to school at 1:45 p.m. This delightful trip was a perfect blend of fun and learning, leaving our little adventurers with cherished memories that they will carry with them for years to come.
