On February 22, 2025, we gathered with great enthusiasm and gratitude to celebrate Thinking Day. The day commenced with a sincere prayer session, setting the tone for reflection and appreciation of the values that scouting and guiding embody.

Our Scouts and Guides embarked on a meaningful visit to "Belaku," an orphanage in Kadabettu. They shared fresh fruits with the residents and spent quality time with them, fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy. This visit was a poignant reminder of the importance of kindness, compassion, and social responsibility.

Following the orphanage visit, the Cubs and Bulbuls had an exciting time participating in the Utsav at Rajangana, Udupi. This vibrant celebration was packed with a variety of engaging activities that brought out the creativity and enthusiasm of our young participants.

One of the highlights of the event was the kite-flying activity. The Cubs and Bulbuls eagerly assembled and decorated their kites, which they then flew high in the sky. The joy and excitement on their faces as they watched their kites soar was a wonderful sight.

In addition to kite-flying, the participants also enjoyed making colorful masks. They showcased their creativity by decorating their masks with feathers, glitter, and other craft materials. The mask-making activity helped bring out their artistic side and encouraged self-expression.

Nature drawing was another activity that sparked the imagination of our young participants. They spent time observing and drawing the natural beauty surrounding them, which helped develop their observation skills and appreciation for nature.

The Utsav also featured traditional games, which were a huge hit among the Cubs and Bulbuls. These games not only promoted teamwork and physical activity but also helped preserve traditional practices and cultural heritage.

Overall, the Cubs and Bulbuls had an amazing time at the Utsav, and the various activities helped foster their creativity, teamwork, and social skills.

Thinking Day 2025 was a truly enriching experience, reinforcing the values of scouting and guiding in the most heartfelt way. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the authorities at Belaku for welcoming us warmly and allowing us to connect with their wonderful residents. This celebration will be etched in our memories as a testament to the power of kindness, teamwork, and creativity.
