St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School organized a one-day orientation programme for Kindergarten teachers in collaboration with LEARNWAREKIDS Smart Kindergarten. The session, held at St. Cecily’s Kindergarten Hall on 13th July 2024, featured master trainers Mrs. Lakshmi Gnaneshwar and Mrs. Bairavi G. The aim was to provide insights into hands-on activities for teaching. The program commenced with prayer, followed by a warm welcome to the resource personnel. The prime objective was to integrate learning through the Play Way Method and activity-based teaching. The master trainers highlighted the importance of engaging young minds through playful learning experiences, ensuring that education is both enjoyable and effective.

One of the key takeaways from the session was the introduction of various creative tools such as worksheets, color counters, and stacking cups. These materials are designed to make classes more interactive and enjoyable, fostering a love for learning in children. The trainers also demonstrated innovative techniques such as pencil-holding methods, word building, and numerical counting, emphasizing how these approaches can enhance fine motor skills and cognitive development in young learners.
