St. Cecily's English Medium Higher Primary School celebrated Hindi Diwas on September 14th, 2024, with great enthusiasm, commemorating the day Hindi was declared the official language of the Union of India. This occasion honored the rich cultural heritage of Hindi and its pivotal role in uniting the nation.

The Hindi Club students organized a captivating program, graced by Chief Guest Ms. Harshitha. The event began with a solemn prayer, seeking divine blessings. Rolvita delivered a warm welcome speech, followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the Hindi Club students, setting the tone for the celebration.

Saanvi Shenoy's eloquent speech highlighted the significance of Hindi Diwas, emphasizing its importance in fostering national unity. A thought-provoking skit enacted by the students showcased the language's impact, inspiring and motivating the audience to embrace Hindi in their academic journey.

Ms. Harshitha, in her address, encouraged the students to speak fluent and correct Hindi, echoing the sentiment that our national language reflects the nation's spirit and character. Principal Sr. Lathika urged students to practice Hindi with confidence and ease, reinforcing its importance.

The programme concluded with Briona's vote of thanks, while Saarangi skillfully anchored the event. The Hindi Diwas celebration at St. Cecily's was a memorable occasion, showcasing the language's significance and inspiring students to cherish their linguistic heritage.
